Leave a Legacy
Many of you who are alumni of our school in the eras of either John Howard, Clapton Park, Clapton Girls’ School, Clapton Girls’ Technology College or Clapton Girls’ Academy will have fond memories of your school days - of teachers who inspired you, experiences which defined you and friendships which have endured.
Today, we continue to provide students with a first-class education and a foundation for life. Their experience at the academy is underpinned by our core values of compassion, ambition, integrity and resilience and we strive to empower all our current and future students with the knowledge, skills and independence to meet their potential to thrive both during their education and beyond, regardless of starting point.
We are immensely proud that Ofsted continues to judge the academy "Outstanding in all Areas". Sadly, however, year on year cuts in the government funding on which we depend mean that it is becoming ever more difficult for us to deliver the quality of education and experience which all our students deserve. We are in urgent need of new sources of funding. We need to be able to continue to recruit the best teachers, to provide up to date facilities and technology and to deliver a breadth of experience in and beyond the classroom in order to secure this tradition for the present students, and those who come in the future.
One of the ways you can help us is to make a bequest to Clapton Girls’ Academy. I sincerely hope you will consider supporting us in this way and playing a part in ensuring that many more generations of students can "Arrive with a Dream and Leave with a Future".
