New Students FAQS

The best thing to do is ask a teacher or an older student to kindly direct or take you to your next lesson if you are lost. If you find that there is no one around, knock on the door of the nearest classroom and ask for some help. Alternatively, make your way to Student Reception and they will help you.

Clapton is a big school with many students so we have three different lunch times to make sure that all students have time to eat. We have 4A which is at 12:20, 4B at 12:50 and 4C at 1:20. What lunch you will have depends on your timetable. More information and a breakdown of the student timetable can be found HERE.

Retrace your steps, visiting all the classrooms and places you spent time in during that day or maybe even the day before. If after this you cannot find your belongings, go to lost property at Student Reception.

One of our values here at CGA is compassion, so we encourage all students to be caring and kind to each other. We also have a zero tolerance policy on bullying or any other type of negative behaviour. If you do feel worried about anything, you can let your form tutor, Intervention Learning Assistant or Head of Year know and they will be happy to help you.
