Year 9 Parents’ Evening:

Thursday 5th February 2026 (4.00pm - 7.00pm)

Parents’ Evening will give parents and students an opportunity to discuss both progress and GCSE/BTEC preferences with the Year 9 team.

Deadline for completing the Key Stage 4 Guided Preferences form:

Friday 13th February 2026

Use the Key Stage 4 Interactive Guided Preferences booklet to find out more about courses

Step 2

Decide your 3 preferences from the table below before completing the online Guided Preferences Form:

  1. Select 3 preferences - ONE from each block

  2. ONE of your preferences must be either French, Geography, History or Spanish (highlighted purple on the table)

  3. You can only select ONE new subject that you have not studied before.

  4. You can only select one of:

    1. GCSE Sociology / BTEC Health & Social Care

    2. BTEC Health & Social Care / Lv 1/2 Cambridge National Creative iMedia

    3. D&T: Product Design / D&T: Textiles


  5. You must also select one overall RESERVE preference
